MOUNTAIN - SEA TREK
A trek consisting of six halting-places inside the National Park of Cilento-Vallo di Diano to spend a week rich in emotions, from the mountain to the coast.
Starting from Pertosa's caves it develops itself trough Mounts Alburni and Mount Cervati, the heart of the Park for its nature, the most appreciated and unpolluted Southern Italy. It can offer you high.mountain., river and seaside habitats.
PROGRAM
I day: Arrival from Napoli airport and accomodation in hotel or country-house, visit to the village, probably -
II day: travel and visit to Pertosa caves
First halting-place of "Alta Via del Cervati" Trek Casone dell'Aresta (1160 m) - M. Spina dell'Ausino (1411 m)
III day: Second halting-place of "Alta Via del Cervati" Trek San Rufo (m 660) - M. Motola hut (1369 m) -
III day (Optional activities): second halting place of "Alta Via del Cervati" San Rufo - Cocuzzo delle Puglie (1440 m) - Sella del Corticato ( 1050 m)
Afternoon: visit to Teggiano old centre
Accomodation and dinner in hotel/country-house
IV day: Third halting-place of "Alta Via del Cervati" Trek M. Motola (1369-1700 m) - Masseria Rezzo (1010 m) V day: Fourt halting-place of "Alta Via del Cervati" Trek Masseria Rezzo - Mount Cervati hut (1600 m) VI day: Fifth halting-place of "Alta Via del Cervati" Trek Mount Cervati hut - the top (1899 m) - Affondatore di Valivona (m 1140) - sources river Bussento (m 909) - Sanza (560 m) -
VII day: Sixth halting-place: the Park's river "Busseto " travel o Bussento "Inghiottitoi"
- Activiti 1: trek La Rupe - Santuario Madonna dei Martiri - Rio Casaletto Spartano
- Activiti 2: travel to Morigerati by mini-bus. Visit to WWF Oasis-Morigerati caves

VIII day: The "Mare Nostrum"
First halting-place: the Cilentana coast of Infreschi. Travel to Ciolandrea
walking from Ciolandrea (519 m) to Marcellino beach (0.00 m)
Trip-boat to oversee the coast situated between Scario and Palinuro.
Stop at an archeologcal cave and, then, at the natural port of Infreschi

IX day: The "Mare Nostrum"
Second halting-place: the Cilentana coast of Infreschi
Swimming in the Mediterranean to relaxe or trip boat to Capo Palinuro
Visit to the Grotta Azzurra, stop on a beach to lie in the sun or ...
Afternoon: visit to the old village San Severino di Centola
X day: travel to Napoli airport
Characteristics:
- Eight halting-places (one for each day)
- Walking-time: from 5 to 7 hours
- Grade: moderate/easy
Calendar: May, June, July, September and October
Very important: The trek takes place if the group consisting of 8 people minimum
Overnight stay in tent (2-3 people) and/or in hut or in hotel or in country-house
Breakfast, take-away lunch, dinner and drinks (wine and water)
Technical equipment for activities and transport of it
Assistance of guides and trainers
We recommend to have got: trekking-sots, walking-shoes, sleeping-bag, water-bottle, Knapsack, K-way, torch, sport-wear, summer-clothes: you can hire of these things.
